Hi, everyone! ^-^ I really liked working with TWC to theme it to suit whatever purpose I needed it for -- blogs, journals, websites. Now, I'm having some trouble with theming TW5.
Some questions: - What is "$:/..."? I know HTML, but I'm just learning HTML5 now (using the w3schools site), so if it's something to do with HTML5 itself, please let me know. I do have experience with HTML/CSS, Javascript, C++, and machine-level programming, so I'm not new to programming itself, just the convention in this context. (It looks vaguely reminiscent of a Linux command line...which is probably what caught me off-guard.) I know that the naming conventions have been changed for elements on the page, such as the tiddler display, menu, subtitle, title, etc., so: - Is there any site outlining these new naming conventions so I can look them up? Or will I have to keep looking them up by using Firefox's "Inspect Element" feature? -- I'd rather not do that because it's inefficient and error-prone so any suggestions are very welcome! - Formerly, there was something called the PageTemplate tiddler to look at or alter the arrangement of elements on the page. Is there still something like that? I'd like to rearrange the order of things on the page -- for example, I don't like the title/subtitle/menu on the right, I'd like to put it on the left instead. Is there anything explaining how to accomplish something like this? I usually like to completely redesign the layout. Any suggestions/resources you may have are very welcome. I really hope to learn more about TW5 so I can get as much out of it as I did out of TWC! Thank you very much for your time and help! ~Hiru -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
