Dear All, Recently I found out about TiddlyWiki5. Rarely I have seen a piece of software so flexible. Well. I am rather a nitwit computerwise, but even I, having seen the creations made by the resident wizards here, can see the immense power. Jeremy you're the man and you surely attracted a pretty "wild bunch " of "dedicated followers of" your "fashion". MultiKudos to All!
Now I have a question, as I am trying my hand, uh brain, at something involving different languages for the content. I have seen that one can use tabs and that's a great way to create a lay-out so I am going to try using that. I managed to get an image of the TW5 Home icon into the title of the startpage of my wiki. See first .tiff. So far so good, but that gave me another idea. Why not brighten up titles with a national flag For example a tiddler called "Auf Deutsch" initally, would get the German flag in front of the text. Worked. Fine, looks OK with that tiny .png (16x16px) So title = German Flag+Auf Deutsch. See second .tiff. Not fine when you want to use that tiddler as a basis for a tab. Putain! Where the heck is my flag? Only the text "Auf Deutsch" is now visible in the tab. Snifs. Hours wasted? See first .tiff again. Any saviours out there, who can help this beginner using really simple jargon? Many thanks in advance. Salut! Ed -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
