I made a test case <http://tids.tiddlyspot.com/> for .myEdit input { width:100%; } It has an original tiddler with some text, a *A*1 tiddler with an editor using your suggestion and tiddler *A*2 with an editor editing *A*1 so that no open/close of *A*1 is necessary. Also a CSS where the above is defined.
Also thank you for the clarification of "ignored content". IMO that text should be clarified on this.
