I added a tool that lets you add or remove fields and tags in bulk, doing the same thing for data tiddler indexes requires much more convoluted things than I feel like dealing with because data tiddlers aren't supported as well as fields. Searching by field contents for the add or remove part doesn't always work as expected for reasons. If someone feels like creating a filter operator that returns the field contents of each field in a tiddler (like fields[] or tags[], but it returns the contents of each field) than I could make it work the way you would expect, but I really don't feel like making a new filter operator now.
I thought this would be simpler than the search and replace version, but I was wrong. There are probably bugs other than the limited function for the search by field contents.
