I just tried IE9 on tiddlywiki.com... and got the same results: a blank 
display

Then... to see if there were any error messages, I opened the "F12 
Developer Tools" console and then refreshed the page to see any startup 
messages.... and, much to my surprise... the page loaded AND displayed 
content!

It seems as if activating developer tools gets past the blockage.  I'm 
wondering if it perhaps has something to do with calls to console.log() 
during startup (i.e., before any widget code is loaded).

In any case, if you invoke F12 before you load the page, it works... so at 
least there is that workaround.
