Those buttons are just there while the stacked view is under development. Ultimately, the idea is that the fan would grow and shrink to let you delve back into the history. In the meantime, you'll have to edit $:/plugins/tiddlywiki/stacked-view/StackedControls - remove the tag $:/tags/TopLeftBar and add $:/tags/ControlPanel. Best wishes Jeremy.
