Yes, I had seen GSD5 before. I seem to have some very specific list of features that need to be present for something I use. I am very bad at thinking of things in terms of current/waiting/future actions and splitting things up in the way that does. GSD also seems like it is made for organizing larger groups with a defined hierarchy, which is not a situation that do well in. The tagging available in tiddlywiki is one of the largest advantages of using it to organize information for me, and it doesn't look like GSD takes advantage of it.
I need things that: *can be visually understood *can be displayed using multiple methods *are easily editable *have multiple methods for searching *have multiple methods for organizing *configurable amounts of information available for each item *I can edit and extend *has easy to use and understand configuration options and probably many other things that I haven't figured out how to properly articulate yet. It is a lot to do with seeing things in context, I am not good at using isolated pieces of information. None of this is anything wrong or bad about other tools. I am very picky about these things and have what are probably special requirements on things that I am able to use consistently. I am going to stop here because it is very easy for me to start ranting about how people in general (including myself) are bad at realizing the possibilities of indexing in digital media. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
