Hi Devin,

A very interesting idea. I did a short test with an Austrian online
service.

It looks like this, on step before you order it :) ... The general problem
with business cards is, that the format is quite different in different
countries. .... as usual :)
and the color definitions should be CMYK for printing instead of RGB for
monitors. So I'm not sure, if the colours look good.

I found a list at visitenkarten24.org

   - ~ 55 x 85 mm | Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands
   - ~ 55 x 90 mm | Australia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark
   - ~ 55 x 91 mm | Japan
   - ~ 54 x 90 mm | Hong Kong
   - ~ 50 x 90 mm | Argentina, Finland, Russia, Hungary, Poland, Romania,
   ...
   - ~ 51 x 89 mm | USA, England, Canada

I did play a little bit with the original SVG and scaled it to 55x85 +
bleed. I did export it to tiff with ~405dpi.

As you can see it seems to work here, but I think the text should be a
little bit bigger and the "input/output" lines should be thinner.

I found some more settings in Inkscape, so it may be possible to create an
image, that fits all formats.

Their preview looks like this. ... but imo the image quality is not very
good.

What do you think?

have fun!
mario
