try this: [ext[open|file://C:/Data/TiddlyWiki Janna/Documenten/to/wiki/ipad_gebruikershandleiding.pdf]] * "ext" is for "external link" * the word "open" appears as the clickable link text * the remainder (following the "|") is a Windows local path/file reference * use *forward* slash in all paths, even in Windows. Also, if the the target .pdf file is in the same folder (or a subfolder) as the TiddlyWiki document, then you can use a *relative* path.
