I've got something that does roughly what you're looking for. 
 http://www.mklauber.com/wiki/#Notes%20Example   (It may ask for a 
password, just click cancel and ignore (don't close) the error box).  
For any tiddler with the tag "Notes", it basically adds to the ViewTemplate 
a button to show the "notes" field as wikitext.  While visible, you can 
also click "edit" to change the notes field.  It's a bit of a work in 
progress, but I think you'll find it what you need.
