If I get any answer to this I could make a simple solution that shows one view when you're working on your local TW and another when it's elsewhere. I just made this <http://mysidebar.tiddlyspot.com/>as an alternative solution for you. It looks at the username instead (by defaut: no user name = hide the normal sidebar lists and instead show your special content) but really think a url-sensing variant would be better.
