Might I interject with the term *"a reference manual"* as opposed to *"a 
user manual"*? That's how the current documentation feels to me. If you 
know specifically what you're looking for, then I'm sure it's great. But 
from a complete beginner's perspective it's difficult to find the 
information you need, with specific, useful examples.
