The shadow tiddler $:/themes/tiddlywiki/vanilla/base has been overridden to include additional stylesheet rules that reference fullstorywidth. The underlying shadow tiddler doesn't have any reference to fullstorywidth. So I think all that happened was that you applied a manual hack to the stylesheet.
