Hi Tobias, A few days ago I saw a Chrome addon: Downloads Overwrite Existing Files <https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/downloads-overwrite-exist/fkomnceojfhfkgjgcijfahmgeljomcfk> . Are you aware of it? I did not test it; I mainly use Firefox + TiddlyFox.
