PS one possible workaround is to activate Notes for iCloud <http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/how-to-effectively-use-the-notes-app-in-ios-and-os-x>, then you can possibly access them through your iCloud account via an e-mail client. Not sure if the "FROM MY PC" notes get associated with the iCloud mailbox when you activate it, but I can give it a try...
