This takes me back. About 10 years or so, to when I first found TiddlyWiki, decided that I really needed to learn javascript and built Atomic OS <http://atomos.sourceforge.net/aos-1.1/index.html>. In fact, it's persistance layer is pulled (in-part) directly from TW code (from whence the name "Atomic" was derived ;-) So, while I've yet to go back and truly build on the concept, here are some relevant thoughts: - I don't think an explorer view for the web and/or tiddlers is at all out of the question (and may not even be all that hard) - WebRTC data channels might prove a potential foundation for a distributed filesystem - With node.js and a few hours coding, a massively multi-user setup should be relatively easy to introduce - As for embedded version control, I believe you'll find me listed over at <https://github.com/creationix/js-git/blob/master/BACKERS.md> I do wonder though...
