first, thanks for taking time to respond.
I think the latter solution is better, it brings forth a good feeling.
Storing the eval in a field makes sense, its similar to the cubed example;
<$list filter="[[]eval{eval-Examples!!cubed}]"/>
I like the way mathematical functions are presented as "filters"
Do you think it would be worth creating a calcs tiddler with common calcs,
such as squared, percent?
