Hey! Do I understand correctly that you basically want to use TWC instead of Excel? Not just use an adapter or something to get the data from Excel? In this case, I would suggest having a person enter each update in a separate tiddler and then using a plugin or custom JS to list the tiddlers. That way you can sort and filter the data any way you want.
