Very interesting! Reminds me of something I played with years ago for TW classic.
My vote would be for the x's to eventually become part of the tabs. I realize this is an eary version and I imagine that is what you have in mind. Other quickie comments FYI: 1. Is it possible to make the tab to the open tiddler be a lighter color 2. Creating a new tiddler should make that draft be the current tiddler, but I needed to open that tab. 3. And editing the new tiddler was strange. Said it was a draft but I had to click edit to get to edit view. All in all, though, a great start to a helpful feature for TW5. I can see myself using this.
