Sounds to me like you want a *<$reveal>* widget. Something like:

<$reveal type="match" text="T" state=!!tags>Tam</$reveal>

Hope this helps. Give the TW documentation 
<http://tiddlywiki.com/#RevealWidget> a look over, if my example doesn't 
work exactly as expected.
