If you look switch Activity Monitor to group processes hierarchically, you'll see that each instance of "nwjs helper" is a child process of TiddlyDesktop, which means that TiddlyDesktop triggered them. So, the 800mb downloaded is whatever network traffic TiddlyDesktop is making; perhaps image requests?
