Hi Jan, You have done a really good job with the slider macro. It works very well and looks good. Your solution using appear looks a little more modern and fresh, but we know now that appear interferes with sidebar toggling and possibly other plugins you will want to use in the future. Your wiki is rather complex so you should choose what fits best in the greater scheme of things.
