I am not following you on the second idea. It sounds like you want a button that will in a sense pin the title of a frequently used tiddler to the editor interface, for quick pasting into other tiddlers. I use an edittemplate tiddler to do this. Edit a tiddler at my http://giffmex.org/mn.html and you will see the window above the editor buttons. I use it to paste the sources of quotes from books I read, but you could put any kind of text there that you want handily available. The tiddler for this is $:/.giffmex/Source Also, see $:/.giffmex/EditorToolbar/Wrap/Greek in that same link above, as an example of an editor toolbar button I made to wrap selected text with CSS.
