Chrome has these file SAVING EXTENSIONS that may be relevant, if they work in Vivaldi:

It would be a close second to auto-save such as we have in Firefox via TiddlyFox. BTW, it was* Riz* who first alerted me to the Chrome extensions. There may be more I don't know of.
