Hi @TiddlyTweeter, I'd love to see drag and drop too !
The existing widgets are great and allow many many possibilities ; I like to play with them very much. But creating a new one or a plugin for drag and drop is way above me ! Maybe some TW wizzard could build a small and basic drag and drop widget or plugin with a very narrow purpose (dealing with a simple kind of list for instance in very specific conditions) so that others could elaborate on it ...
