at this point ff and chrome have implemented the new version of javascript, while pale moon is stuck in the past and will eventually stop working with new webpages. There is a long term support for ff (I have not tried it) which last for 12months and will be based on version 52 https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox/Firefox_ESR
