Good point! (And, it probably points to a weakness in how we use tags but that's another story.) but as you say, one could imagine optional modifiers, either via keyboard commands. Another idea could be some visual option buttons appearing as you drop that take into account if the dropping zone is withing the same list or on some other place where you might want to rid the tag after all. A third idea, or perhaps one including the two former, could be a $droppable paramter such as "untag=yes".
