You could use a little (hacky) trick. The core/save/all <http://tiddlywiki.com/#%24%3A%2Fcore%2Fsave%2Fall>tiddler excludes tiddlers named: $:/state/popup see: -[prefix[$:/state/popup/]] It's tricky to mess with this tiddler. If make an error, you end up with a corrupted TW file, or no file at all! That's why we change the sidebar button. ... You can open the sidebar-button: http://tiddlywiki.com/#%24%3A%2Fcore%2Fui%2FTopBar%2Fmenu and change the name of the state tiddler from $:/state/sidebar --> $:/state/popup/sidebar Since this is only a name it should make no difference, except the tiddler is not saved anymore. Just define the new state once by hand and you should be good to go. I didn't test it. ...
