Please make a demo. The password to save is "password". I think your
problem is simple to solve but it is tricky to understand what you're
actually doing. For example, in the code you just posted it turns out
you're surrounding it with a list widget (which was crucial to know). And
you're sayingthe text is from "a separate database" which is confusing, so
please make a demo.
