Hi fellow TiddlyWiki users! I had an idea for something while using my TiddlyWiki, and I wanted to solicit feedback from the community to see if there are other approaches before I put pen to paper, or...code to editor, I guess, in plugin form.
So one of the things I use TiddlyWiki for is a developer journal - I like to write down each day what I worked on, things I learned, things I read about, questions I have, etc. I'll typically have a paragraph under a heading for each one (ex. "! Today I Learned About the count widgetThe count widget counts the number of tiddlers that match a filter"). The problem is that after two years of journal entries, skimming over my learnings has proven tricky. My idea (currently implemented as a dumb macro) is to have a TIL widget (and an Interesting Article Widget, and a Question Widget, etc) that would write the summary to a table or something in another tiddler for easier browsing. This would make skimming my TILs easier, along with searching for them. I'm thinking of calling these "stamps", mainly because there's a similar function on the map in the game Breath of the Wild, which I'm currently obsessed with. =) What do you all think of this idea? Is this worth fleshing out into a plugin? Or is there a more obvious solution in front of my face that I'm not seeing?
