Hi, David. I like Cardo a lot. I am currently using Nozbe, kind of fitfully, but I like the idea of keeping my own data to myself. It's more important to maintain one's secrets privately than to actually have secrets, I always say.
However, I have a couple of questions. First, I'm working with the latest Cardo, which I think is 1.0.1 on a MacBook with Chrome 57.0.2987.133. I don't know if this is the most recent Chrome. Second, when I look at the Book Library tiddler under Currently Reading, instead of a + sign in a box I get a box with some xml-ish code which reads "+<$action-sendmessage $message="tm-new-tiddler" ...>", where there is more where ... stands. The same is true for Not Yet Read. Presumably there is a syntax error someplace. Last, is it possible to add to the set of book categories through the browser interface? I could go search through the Javascript code, though I'm hardly a JS expert, but I was hoping there was some way to customize this without actually working very hard. In a past job, when we found bugs in the Gnu C compiler my boss would say "What do you expect for free?" I know you are working on this gratis, and I'm not trying to rush you. If I get annoyed enough I will figure out what's wrong and fix it myself. If I do I'll be sure to send it back to you. Is there a github repository? Thanks again for all your work on this, and my sympathies for your loss. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
