What got me was not knowing I had to look for a new icon, and that my
saving had been silently disabled. So it's not a case of not noticing the
color of the icon, *it's noticing that there's an icon at all! *It was only
after I'd lost work that I realized that TF had been updated and that I had
to take explicit action.

I will accept part blame; it did ask me to confirm leaving the page. In
dGSD (TWC-based), I've gotten used to seeing the "leave page" confirmation
pop-up every time I close the page, whether I have unsaved changes or not.
(There's a setting that's supposed to only ask when there are unsaved
changes but it often reverts back to "always ask." That's a different
annoyance....) I this case I knew that I'd saved so closed the page. What I
didn't know was that due to my not re-enabling saving in the new version of
TF, my save had silently failed.

I love TW but this bit me hard and I'm a little angry about it.
