Hi Josiah > I know a lot of effort has gone into designing & tweaking extant SVG cats for > TW. But where can i find a good collection of them?
I’m not sure that such a collection exists. Are there any specifics you were thinking of? There are several versions of the Motovun Jack image included on tiddlywiki.com: http://tiddlywiki.com/#Motovun%20Jack.svg:%5B%5BMotovun%20Jack.svg%5D%5D%20%5B%5BMotovun%20Jack.pdf%5D%5D%20%5B%5BMotovun%20Jack.jpg%5D%5D%20%5B%5BMotovun%20Jack.ascii%5D%5D The original photograph is linked from tw.com: https://www.flickr.com/photos/jermy/6292279493/in/photostream You can see some other images of Jack in my photostream: https://www.flickr.com/photos/jermy/ > Using black cat imagery could help promote TW. One example is to encourage users who are making static pages > from TW to signal also how they were made. There’s already a “powered by TiddlyWiki” banner that is available as a plugin. You can see it at the bottom right of http://tiddlywiki.com/prerelease <http://tiddlywiki.com/prerelease> > Its also a way of giving thanks. So why not a cat badge that reads: "thanks > to TiddlyWiki". > > Also when not be able to set the cat as an easy default background image. For the desktop, or for TiddlyWiki itself? Including a decent resolution image of Jack in the default distribution would take up quite a bit of space. > Like my previous question about icons (its in the TW Dev Department > <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/tiddlywikidev/8-jLSL3b49A>), I feel > its over-hard to find resources like this at moment. You can search it with Google, or download a local copy of all of the content from GitHub: https://github.com/Jermolene/jermolene.github.io/ <https://github.com/Jermolene/jermolene.github.io/> (Click the green “download” button at the top right) Best wishes Jeremy. > Best wishes > Josiah > > footnote: I originally posted a version of this to the Dev Department, but > felt it was an interesting issue for here too. i have modified the post to > make its meaning clearer. > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "TiddlyWiki" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an > email to [email protected] > <mailto:[email protected]>. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected] > <mailto:[email protected]>. > Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/group/tiddlywiki > <https://groups.google.com/group/tiddlywiki>. > To view this discussion on the web visit > https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/tiddlywiki/9e7f4db6-38ec-4810-b736-08108ed6db61%40googlegroups.com > > <https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/tiddlywiki/9e7f4db6-38ec-4810-b736-08108ed6db61%40googlegroups.com?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer>. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout > <https://groups.google.com/d/optout>. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
