Example: In the browser, I often open a list of tiddlers I need for a particular project. Then, I create a persistent URL for this view with the "permaview" button, which I bookmark. This way, I can always access the same list of tiddlers through the bookmark. (Of course, it's possible to achieve similar results via transclusion, tags, lists etc., but this takes more effort.)
