I don't know much about Macs, and especially how TiddlyDesktop operates with them.
If you download a new TW file (because I don't want to endanger your existing work), then you can import the attached file into that new TW. Then SAVE and RELOAD. Then In TiddlyDesktop open a tiddler in that new TW and create macro <<useragent>> and then preview it. This should tell you what TiddlyDesktop thinks your user agent is. It might help in tweaking TD or maps. Might. Maybe. Possibly. ;-) I would be curious what it reports. Good luck!
