Tobaish, I like the Favourites plugin found here to star tiddlers http://t5a.tiddlyspot.com/#Favorites
Then I found $:/plugins/ajh/favorites/SideBar <http://192.168.1.109:8088/Local-Instances/TiddlyWiki5.html#%24%3A%2Fplugins%2Fajh%2Ffavorites%2FSideBar> then edited it to insert before "<$link" <$button tooltip="Edit tiddler" message="tm-edit-tiddler" > {{$:/core/images/edit-button}} </$button> Now every item listed under favorites is proceeded by an edit button, and opens the tiddler for edit.
