Mario, Thanks, that looks like a more sophisticated solution, one I like very much, and I will look into it.
I expect to find the mechanism in there, and look forward to it, but clearly that is a better solution because records can be inserted and removed. However the need for the "primitive" append to text field remains. I am surprised I can not find it somewhere, unless I just need to use the field manipulation commands to append. Thanks once again Mario for a comprehensive solution and guidance to adopt it.
