I think you'll need to get away from the simple transclude. This seems to 
work:

<$list filter="[prefix[$:/_changelog]]" >
<$list filter="[all[current]removeprefix[$:/_changelog/]]" variable=entry>
<$link><<entry>></$link><br/>
</$list>
</$list>
