I can't solve the problem. But I just wanted to let you know that it CAN 
happen that you create a custom style sheet that works on one TW & not 
another--even if its apparently the same (even same TW version).

No one has ever, as far as I know, looked closely at this issue though its 
likely to do with how the CSS "Cascade" order gets assembled. It doesn't 
always work as you expect. If the custom stylesheet ends up in the wrong 
place in the "cascade" it can get usurped by other values. 

Stephan's tips about increasing specificity should help.

Telmiger's recent "Bricks"  style manager is way to ensure cascade order as 
it can build ONE stylesheet, including ones mods. Though parts of using it
