Ciao Jeremy I had a last stab after stumbling on some online comments... and found this DOES work for Windows...
C:\bag\PortableApps\tiddlydesktop\nw.exe --user-data-dir=C:\bag\PortableApps \tiddlydesktop\data The other options don't. So its still not portable in a way that I think could be useful to have.
