Yeehaaw! That did work! Thank you BurningTreeC! WOW !! > > Now I've seen your page - that's amazingly good. >
Thank you. Yes, I believe it can be something useful. As I mentioned, I think it could be a new paradigm for creating (basic) stuff in TW. IMO we need to lower the threshold for newcomers. There are a few things needed before it is usable though that I need help with. I was thinking of raising separate threads for this... but I'll take it here since you're the one closest to the whole concept to begin with :-) So, one thing is that the dropping should also work in edit mode. As you know, dropping a link currently gives the [[title]]. But dropping a TidBit should either give the <<macrocall>> like in view mode or possibly the actual macro content, so that it can be modified. I think default should be to drop the TidBit macrocall and e.g a Ctrl+drop to get the actual TidBit code dropped. Second, the dropped bits should be "rearrangable" in view-mode like with the list-links-draggable <https://tiddlywiki.com/prerelease/#list-links-draggable%20Macro> and list-tags-draggable <https://tiddlywiki.com/prerelease/#list-tagged-draggable%20Macro> macros... however, if I understand things, neither of those macros are applicable here, nor the draggableWidget <https://tiddlywiki.com/prerelease/#DraggableWidget>. The ideal would be some kind of "wrapper" to put around arbitrary segments in a tiddlers text. Any ideas? Your help is much appreciated. <:-) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
