LOL ;-)

But up on the STORE-FRONT (tiddlywiki.com) its too much IMO ... its

I agree our store front is probably overwhelming. Not quite sure what would
be better. Some years ago Jeremy called for radical and bold suggestions
for a remake of tiddlywiki.com. The following ideas are (obviously) not
thought through;

How about one single tiddler. That, with some veeery basic and brief
instructions is all they get. There isn't much more to do there than to
"make a note". If they want more, the must install plugins.

Or maybe there's a introductory wizard. Again, you start with one tiddler
but for every move you do, there is guidance about the options opening up.
Entering edit mode... wizard informs about wikitext and links... tiddler
saved ---> wizard tells you to click the/a link... after a while it brings
up plugins....

Or maybe something more along https://keep.google.com ...which actually
resembles http://muritest.tiddlyspot.com/

Maybe you could get a list of applications. You tick some preferences and
click "Generate my TiddlyWiki"... that way you know more what it is
"supposed" to do for you.

...I guess a question is why people look into TW to begin with.

...or is it perhaps happenstance and curiosity that put people in contact
with TW and then it is the community - and discoverability in TW - that
kind of foster peoples ideas about what to do?

What *problems* do people have anyway... where TW is a potential answer?

This is only one part of the "Getting TW Better Known" thing. And maybe I'm

As mentioned before, I tried to identify Appetizer TiddlyWikis
<http://twaddle.tiddlyspot.com/#:%5B%5BAppetizer%20TiddlyWikis%5D%5D> that
aim to be exactly that; "I-do-want-to-try-it"-TWs. IMO it would make sense
to make "TW editions" - or, as I'd rather
<http://twaddle.tiddlyspot.com/#Editions%20-%20an%20unfortunate%20term>
call them; TW Applications - that are officially presented on
tiddlywiki.com. I think the bar is pretty high to actually have something
be accepted as an edition though and as long as we don't have any other
official website / "app store" / distribution system then this is
problematic.
