Hello, I'm pretty sure it's not so difficult. Also it may be totally independent from the Leaflet Plugin. Using an enhanced version of your demo script (which doesn't work in Chrome for me, does it?) you could create or update the point field of the tiddler with value lat, long and your tiddler will become a geoTiddler that might be used by leaflet plugin (also working with geojson field if you prefer).
I will had your suggestion as an issue, but I have very few time to work on this for now. And have some other issues to cure before <https://framagit.org/sycom/TiddlyWikiPlugins/issues>... So you may prefer not to wait and try your own script. I'll be glad to reference it as a "Leaflet Plugin companion" if it's ready before I can implement it. Just let me know. Sylvain Comte (sycom) PS : Sylvain Naudin is a pretty cool guy and does a great work around TiddlyWiki but he did not create the Leaflet Plugin (which is my baby ;-) Le mardi 3 juillet 2018 00:37:10 UTC+2, Jan a écrit : > > Hello, > I would like to have a macro which uses this script > https://www.w3schools.com/Html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml5_geolocation > to capture the geolocation. > It should trigger a Modal with a button to write > position.coords.longitude ,position.coords.latitude > to a field called points in a new tiddler. > > (This is what I would furnish if I got the geolocation as a name/variable. > somehow.I would also make a button also add it to a path.) > > This would be a great feature to have in Sylvain Naudins Leaflet Plugin ( > http://sycom.github.io/TiddlyWiki-Plugins/#Leaflet%20plugin > <http://www.google.com/url?q=http%3A%2F%2Fsycom.github.io%2FTiddlyWiki-Plugins%2F%23Leaflet%2520plugin&sa=D&sntz=1&usg=AFQjCNGhcjGoO8Buy3ZUlOFXL02wtPc0mw> > ) > > Thanks for your help! > Yours > Jan > > > > > > > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
