I think of the anniversary of TiddlyWiki as being Monday 20th September 2004 when I released the first version to tiddlywiki.com. I’d been playing around with it since about June that year.
I then spoke publicly about TiddlyWiki the following Wednesday at a meetup in London called Dorkbot (“people doing strange things with electricity”): http://paulm.com/inchoate/2004/09/dorkbot_london_classic.html <http://paulm.com/inchoate/2004/09/dorkbot_london_classic.html> That triggered some attention which somehow cascaded, and by the end of that week there were a bunch of blog posts etc. about TiddlyWiki — and I started receiving calls from Silicon Valley, but that’s another story.
