Can I respectfully say One reason I think there is a lack of clarity on federation is it has not being accessible to the broader audience and those in the know have seen it around for ages and have a strong knowledge of it and know what it means.
It is now polarised to those who know (a small number of people) and those who dont. The discussion needs to go back to basics for most of us and those in the know need to explain the state of play in simple language. As I understand it it forshadows the next generation.
