Folks,
I just wanted to let you know I recent wrote a Document where there were
two protagonists, one Alice and the Other Bob. What I discovered
was it reads differently if you swap the Female with the male, giving an
interesting perspective on social expectations, So this is what I did, I
replaced Alice with {{a}} and Bob With {{b}} and then with in each of those
I created the fields p1 and P2 for personal pronouns and gave "a" p1 of she
and a p2 of her and in "b" a p1 of he and a p2 of him.
So with a search and replace I changed the text to use the transcludions
{{a}} {{a!!p1}} {{a!!p2}} and {{b}} {{b!!p1}} {{b!!p2}}
Now by modifying tiddlers a and b I can see if my text is gender less
An interesting exercise in uncovering our own biases.
Regards
Tony
