I was trying to use tiddlydesktop to help me with how to save the file in a
manner similar to a desktop program like word. when i launched the tiddly
file in chrome, it then worked as it should have. now i just need to nail
down how to save in the original folder as I'm using relative paths - i'll
RTFM and hopefully it'll outline that there :-)

Thank you for your help.
