Hello community, In recent posts here I noticed that some people import reference information in their starter wiki editions in order to learn or look up how things work.
This was the last push I needed to set up a new plugin containing the compact/short reference I (partially) missed when I started. I also intend to use—and maybe expand—it later for testing purposes in my different designs. As I stated elsewhere, I think plugins are a great way to add information to wikis, so I made it a plugin first and called it Wikitext Markup Reference <https://tid.li/tw5/plugins.html#Wikitext%20Markup%20Reference> WMR. It is not very polished, but rather efficient I think. While testing the plugin a bit, I noticed that my simple filter examples do not work for shadow tiddlers – and all tiddlers in a plugin are shadow tiddlers. Always. So if you want to see the results for filter examples, you will also have to import the example tiddlers separately from the plugin.
