In theory, you could run your own plantuml server. That might take a bit of 
doing.

I notice that there is a java version of Plantuml that can be used from the 
command line. So it's possible to imagine something like Bob, which has 
scripting abilities, invoking the command sequence to generate the 
diagrams. Maybe. But probably not the simple solution anyone was hoping for.
