Tony, I'd be interested to have a look at your modified TOC approach.
It is also my understanding that AUTOREF has to be based on passing all the tiddlers involved according to the TOC order. But instead of revealing the tiddler titles (as TOC does) AUTOREF has to build indexes of artifacts for each artifact type. Thanks.
